Yvonne Bolling

Yvonne Bolling, age 67, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 6:55PM. She was welcomed into Heaven by her daughter, Aliscia Lynn Bolling; her father, Rev. George Jackson Logan, Sr. as well as her brothers, Walter, Lee Roy, Hester, Lavell, Danny and her sister, Lela. She is survived by her husband, Willie Bolling, Sr.; daughter, Lorrie Marie Bolling and her husband Sherman; daughter, Kelly Nece; son, Willie Bolling, Jr. and his wife Tabitha and son-in-law, Andre Backus. She also had five grandkids, Rodrick Jr., Alfred, Chantel, Gable, and Kyle and one grandpuppy, Duncan. She was also survived by her mother, Lela Logan and siblings, Lavern (Arthur) Taylor, Claudell (Vanessa ) Logan, Lorraine Logan, Sharon (Andre) Duhon and George (Elizabeth) Logan. She also had many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Yvonne was born on August 6, 1949 in Newton, Mississippi to Rev. George and Lela Jackson Logan, Sr. Being the 5th child of 12, she was a very bright and energetic student that loved to read. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1967 and married the love of her life, Willie Bolling, Sr. After obtaining an Associates Degree in Drafting at LA Votech, Yvonne went on to become an Inventor/Entrepreneur as well as the first female drafter at CE NatCo. She designed several oil rigs that are still used in the Gulf today. She had many accomplishments, but her greatest achievement was a mother. Her favorite thing to do was attend Disney World with her family. She was a phenomenal woman, known by many and loved by all.
