It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister Yvette Eileen Soutullo on Thursday, September 17th, 2026, at the age of 70.  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Martin, and her daughter, Amanda Pesson.  Yvette is the daughter of the late Joseph and Gloria Soutullo.  She is the sister of the late Catherine, the late Stephen, and survived by Joseph (Marde), Peter, Donald (Elsie), Kenneth (Sharon), and her twin sister Annette Morell.  Yvette was a loving grandmother to her ganddaughter, Haley Pesson, and great-grandmother to Roman, Aria, and Mason. Above all else, Yvette cherished being their "Mimi." She also had many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her and will remember many fond memories, especially Yvette's best friend of thirty years, Jennifer Frierson, who, with steadfast love and support, was with her until the very end.  

Yvette was a lifelong resident of Gretna and built her life around her love for family and friends, always caring deeply for others and never forgot a birthday.  She was smart, witty, and maintained her sense of humor through her final days.

The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the outstanding care provided by Passages Hospice.

A private service will be held at the family's convenience.  The family requests that you light a candle and say a prayer for our dearest Yvette as she heads to her eternal home in Heaven.
