Mr. Win Tran, born as Trần Hoàng Huyền, left his earthly life on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 at 9 PM. He was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to The States in 1975 after the Fall of Saigon; he had more than just hope for a fresh start, he had a determination to succeed, and to have fun while doing it.
He and his twin brother founded Transway Transmission & Torque Converters in 1982 and ran the business together for 41 years. Aside from his passion for cars and nature, Mr. Tran had a deeper passion for music. He taught himself how to play the guitar and ignited a love of music into his children. He formed a family band called Tinh Hong Band, composed of all his children and nephews. The band contributed to countless memories, performing events within the community for many years.
A father of six, a poultry farmer, a gardener, a mechanic, a musician, an entertainer, a chef, an animal lover, an expert in carrot cake, he will be remembered for all of his loves and passions, and indeed his love for God.
Mr. Tran is survived by his eldest son, Anthony Tran; daughters Amy Tran, Adrienne Tran, and Angela Tran; youngest sons Antoine Tran and Andrew Tran; and six grandchildren, Valerie Tran, Maddox Tran, Edmond Tran, Denny Trosclair III, Kinsley Vu and Adley Vu.
Mr. Tran is preceded in death by his father and mother, Trần Phú and Hoàng Kén.
He is loved by his family dearly. May he rest in peace and his legacy never be forgotten.
