William Gerald Midkiff, passed into enteral life on Monday April 8, 2024. He was born on May 22, 1948 in Alliance, OH and lived in both Terrytown and Marrero, LA.
William is preceded in death by his Parents William Gordan Midkiff and Geraldine Mary Wang and his niece, Jessica Avelis-Fontenot. He is survived by his sister Karen Avelis, his nephew Nic Avelis and his daughter Annabelle and his late niece’s husband and son Jeff Fontenot and Adrian “Ad” Avelis-Fontenot.
Known as Middy to his friends, he studied at Kent State University and then went to broadcasting school. He was a radio personality, DJ Big Bill, at Blue Suede Radio (WBSS) in New Orleans, LA.
