William "Bill" Floyd, Sr.

William "Bill" Floyd passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the age of 72 in Terrytown, LA. Father of William Floyd (Rafia) and Brian Floyd (Jamie). Grandfather of Stvon Floyd, Salvatore Floyd, Luciana Floyd, Ellasandra Floyd. Brother to Charles "Mike" Floyd and Elizabeth "Betty" Rees. Son of the late Bill E. Floyd and Julieta Floyd. Born in OK, lived in Laredo, and raised in Belle Chasse. He graduated from River Oaks Academy and was a Navy Veteran. He also earned a Masters in Communication from Loyola University. For decades, he showed his love of tennis by playing and mentoring others. He will always be remembered for his love of fajitas and sweet tea.
