Walter M. Biggs III passed away peacefully on March 22, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Beloved son of the late Lucy Glass Biggs and Walter M. Biggs Sr. Grandson of Julia Dangerfield Smith Glass. Cousin of Frank “Bob” Glass Sr.
Walter was a graduate of Behrman High School and Southeastern Louisiana University with his degree in Horticulture. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Walter later retired from F.W. Woolworth (Canal Street) after many years of dedicated service.
Interment will take place at a later date with his family in Osyka, MS.
