Virginia "Ginny" Rodrigue

Virginia “Ginny” Rodrigue, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 2, 2017 surrounded by her loving family, in the comfort of her home at the age of 63. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Virginia Gibson; siblings, David Gibson and Raymond Gibson. Ginny is beloved wife of Ricky Rodrigue. She is devoted mother of 3 daughters, Samantha Parker (Clayton), Melanie Flores and Stacy Rodrigue. She is loving grandmother of Ryan Parker, Mackenzie Flores, Mia Flores, Rayme Parker, Morgan Flores, Cole Parker. She is sister of Randy Gibson and Steve Gibson (B.J.). Ginny is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ginny is a US Veteran who served in the US Army. Her favorite hobbies were gardening and sewing. Above all, her passion was spending quality time with her loving family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, July 7, 2017 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA. Interment to follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorials to the Louisiana and Mississippi chapter of the ALS Association.
