Virgin Mary Allemand Clements entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late William “W.A.” Clements, Sr. Daughter of the late Clarence Allemand and Annette Dugas Allemand. Loving mother of Darnell Clements, William “W.A” Clements, Jr. (Michelle), Edward P. Clements (Catherine), Annette C. Distefano (Santo), Caroline C. Portugal, Michael Clements, Sr. (Samantha), Darlene Clements (Herman) and the late Darell Cooper. Grandmother of Amber (Brett), Joshua (Victoria), Christy (Charles), Ashley (Joseph), Michael, Jr., Steven, William, Amanda (Derrek), Tabitha (Derrek), Catherine (Troy), Courtney (Cy Jr.), Jason, Chad (Adrienne), Lisa (Brad), Mary (Ricky), Edward, Jr. (Christine), Corey (Jessica), William, Rebecca, Jaimee, Holly (Joshua, Sr.), Justine (Randy), Bambi (Richard), Wendy (August), Donna (Donald), Karen (Mauricio), Darlene (David), Lonnie and Toni Lynn (Ben). Also survived by 47 Great Grandchildren and 25 Great Great Grandchildren. Sister of Donald Allemand and the late Gertrude A. Perrin, Lonnie Allemand, Herman Allemand, Myrl Bourg, and Clarence Allemand, Jr. Virgin is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Virgin was a member of the VFW Post 6793, Marrero-Harvey Senior Center and Lyons Club in Westwego, LA. She was a longtime Choir member at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Westwego. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 8AM until 10:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 4th Streets and Avenue A, Westwego, LA on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
