Virgie Brown Lambert

Virgie Brown Lambert passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at the age of 81. Beloved mother of Paul Lambert (Ariana), Jon E. Lambert (Lauren) and the late Mark Lambert (Anita). Daughter of the late Pauline and William Brown. Sister of Bill Brown (the late Alsie Jane), Veronica Bourgeois (Wilton), Pam Brown Trahan, and the late Barbara Owen (the late Dana). Grandmother of Annabelle, Caitlyn, Connor and Carter Lambert. Also survived by seventeen nieces and nephews. She was Lutheran. She was employed by Cashman Equipment and later by James Cashman as an assistant, a job she loved for a family she loved! She also loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed going to the casino, shopping, and having fun. She lived life to the fullest. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 1pm. Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm. Interment, Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 11316 River Road, St. Rose, LA 70087.
