Vernon Venoy Hinson Jr, 56, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday January 12th 2021. He is survived by his wife Regina Gonzales Hinson of 29 years, sons Addison Hinson and Zachary Hinson, parents Vernon Sr. and Wanda Hinson, brother Curtis “Bill” (Renee), mother-in-law Elaine Gonzales (the late Ramos “NeNe”), sister-in-law Veronica Nicholas (Ken), brother-in-law Ramos Gonzales (Laurie). Also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and James Overby, who was like and "adopted" son. Vernon was an alumnus of Louisiana Tech University (Go BullDogs!), a loyal Saints and LSU fan, and an avid fisherman. He loved spending his weekends at his Camp fishing and watching the sunsets with his soulmate. Vernon loved to laugh but most importantly loved to make others laugh. Whether it was through his jokes or through his pranks. He loved to spend time with his family and friends through his many crab and crawfish boils in the backyard. Vernon touched many people in his short time with us, he was incredibly generous and lived life with an open heart. To know him was to love him. He was loved and will be missed by all.
