Vernell Clement Lartigue Emery

Vernell Clement Lartigue Emery peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2022 at the age of 99. Vernell was born in Gretna, LA on September 8, 1923 to parents Charles Joseph and Julie Guillot Clement. She is preceded in death by her husband Reginald Lartigue, her son Reginald Lartigue, Jr. her husband by second marriage Willard Emery, her parents, siblings and their spouses O'Neil Clement (Rita), Roland Clement (Leah), Shirley C. Fist (Joseph), and Audrey C. Smith, (Lynn). She is survived by her Daughter-in-law Karen Allen Lartigue, grandchildren Kristen Allen, Zachary Lartigue & Julie Lartigue as well as several nieces, nephews, and their children. The family would like to thank the staff at Woldenberg Village, where she has resided for the past 8 years, for their thoughtful and loving care. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 1:30 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 12 PM until 1:30 PM.
