Vanessa LeBlanc Giambelluca

Vanessa LeBlanc Giambelluca, a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the age of 70.  Beloved wife of 45 years to John Michael Giambelluca, Sr.  Loving and devoted mother of Justin Mark Giambelluca, John Michael Giambelluca, Jr. (Scarlett), Jennifer Marie Giambelluca and Jeffrey Mark Giambelluca (Heather).  Beloved grandmother of Joshua, Brittany, Cynthia, Alexis, Ashley, Jordan, Jared, Jonathan, Jade, Jewel, Dylan, Justin, Jacie, Jacelyn and Jianni.  Great Grandmother of 13 Great Grandchildren.  Daughter of the late Helen Rogers LeBlanc and John Charles LeBlanc.  Sister of Lisa LeBlanc Comeaux (Jack) and the late David LeBlanc and Steve LeBlanc.  Vanessa is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was the owner of Visko’s Restaurant in Gretna.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and nanny.  As a graduate of Gail Gauthreaux’s School of Dancing, she would continue to dance throughout her life and if it was just in the kitchen with her children or grandchildren.  Dancing may have been her first love, but nothing compared to the love and passion she had for her family.  The Giambelluca Family would like to express their gratitude to Mrs. Miriam Cook for her dedication, care and compassion.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 6PM until 9PM.  Visitation will continue on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 6^th Street, Gretna, LA from 9AM until 10AM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday at 10AM.  Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com
