                                                          Van Thanh Nguyen (1953-2025)

Van ‘Pop’ Thanh Nguyen, 72, of Harvey, La peacefully passed away after a long battle with cancer. Van came to the States during the Vietnam war when he served in the Navy and soon after met and married his true love, Trang Pham. Continuing his hard work ethic as a tradesman with Friedrichs Custom Mfg. he then started a family, and became a father to three girls, Diana(Nah), Nancy(Jemeile), and Diane(Jonathan), who blessed him with 11 grandchildren. Van’s endless and undying love for his girls and Trang followed him til the end of his time on this earth where he passed the on the same day as Trang, sharing a death day. Even death could not keep these two apart.
