With deepest sorrow, we announce that Tyler Toan Tu, age 25, passed on July 17, 2022 at home in Belle Chasse, LA. He leaves behind his Dad- Dung ("Buck"), Mom- Dang Thu, brother- Blake, and girlfriend- Lauren. He is missed dearly by his grandparents, Chinh Thi Pham and Hong Van Tran & Be Thi Le and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Tyler grew up loving cars, owing this early interest to his Dad, who is an avid enthusiast in his own right. Tyler and his Dad enjoyed going to car shows together throughout the years. Tyler loved cruising around the city with the windows down, listening to music with his dog, Draco. He enjoyed going to City Park to walk around while sharing big goals and future dreams with Lauren. Tyler also worked at Auto Trend Collision Center, where learned from the very best in the auto body industry, his father. Tyler was extremely meticulous and took pride in doing things the right way; not compromising by taking any shortcuts. Tyler consistently stepped up to the plate and would do anything that was asked of him to help his Dad run the body shop efficiently and effectively.
Tyler fiercely loved his family. He enjoyed showering them with thoughtful and meaningful gifts. He took delight in cooking for them; finding fulfillment in seeing his loved ones well-fed and happy. He would buy crabs from the local church fair because he knew it was his mom’s favorite. He never failed to check on his brother, making sure that Blake had eaten. Tyler had a genuine heart to help others. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it, even if it meant that he had to Google when he did not know how.
“Tyler was truly one of a kind. The radiance of his bright smile and the warmth of his attentive, thoughtful spirit has permanently imprinted our hearts. There are no words to convey how deeply loved and how much Tyler will be missed. As difficult as it may seem, our comfort is in knowing that we will meet again one day”
