Todd D Ritter Sr

Todd D. Ritter Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the age of 48. Beloved husband of Alicia Boudreaux Ritter. Father of Todd D. Ritter, Jr. and Brooke M. Ritter. Son of Gloria Boudreaux Ritter and John Wilfred Ritter. Son-in-law of Margaret Boudreaux and the late Kenneth Boudreaux, Sr. Brother of Traci Ritter Henderson (Paul). Uncle of Cortney E. Ritter and Emma G. Henderson. Brother-in-law of Kenneth Boudreaux, Jr. (Carrie) and Kevin Boudreaux, Sr. (Rhonda). Also survived by a host of relatives and friends. He was a lifelong resident of the Westbank.

Todd Ritter was larger than life. His presence would light up any room.
Todd never met a stranger. His zest for life and smile were infectious. Todd was passionate about love, life, family, friends, food, music, sports, New Orleans, and any nearby good time. Todd doted on his family, especially his beloved children. Todd made sure never to miss a beach vacation, Lundi Gras, Jazz Fest, LSU events or a Saints game. While Todd’s life may have been short, he made up for that by living large and fast fast fast.

Todd’s absence will leave an immense void in our hearts and lives but rest assured that Todd would not want us to be sad. Todd would want us to keep our heads up, our glasses held high and to laissez bon temps rouler.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 7th Street, Marrero, LA on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 1pm. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or No One Fights Alone.
