Theresa Becnel Lomonaco

Theresa Becnel Lomonaco passed away peacefully on January 17, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years of age. Beloved wife of 56 years to the late Salvador Lomonaco Sr. Mother of Salvador Lomonaco Jr. (Darlene), Beverly L. Ronquillo (Thomas “Yogi”), Dennis Lomonaco (Deborah) and Nathan Lomonaco (Betty). Grandmother of Amy, Kimberly, Dennis Jr., Amanda, Nathan II and Christopher. Sister of Stella B. Todaro, Lawrence Becnel, Shirley B. Folse, Dorothy B. Rouge, the late A. J. Becnel, Sidney Becnel, Cecile B. Castleman and Glovance Becnel. Daughter of the late Aristide Becnel and Armanza Rome Becnel. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Theresa was born in Vacherie, LA and resided in Marrero, LA for 75 years. She owned and operated Hometown Supermarket in Marrero and Sal’s Holiday Supermarket in Bridge City for many years. She will be sadly missed.
