Gillespie, Sr. (Companion Theresa Foret) and the late Lottie McKlemurry Gillespie. Loving and devoted mother of Frankie Freeman, Sr. (Beth), Heather Freeman, Edmond Freeman, Jr. and Shaina Prestenback. Adored Grandmother of Frankie Joseph Freeman, Jr. Beloved sister of Lisa Cheramie (Darren) and Kevin Gillespie, Jr. (Barbara). Aunt of Jennifer (Josh) , Darren Jr. (Christian Joy), Victoria, Chad, Cory and Candance. Great Aunt of Logan, Kayliee and Aubree. Beloved friend of Jay Antill. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Hospice Compassus, especially her nurse, Laura as well as her caretakers, Heidi Prestenback and husband Chris, Hope Caulfield, Rita Mae and Lorinda Connor for their love, care and compassion. Tara was born in Odessa, TX and was a lifelong resident of Lafitte, LA. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will follow in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
