"T'Ann" Theresa Ann Rogers O'Hern

T’Ann (Theresa Ann) Rogers O’Hern, 91, died Friday, January 5, 2024.  She was born on February 10, 1932 in Algiers, Louisiana, and was a lifelong resident of Algiers.

She is proceeded in death by her husband of 23 years, Joseph “Tiny” O’Hern; her parents, Walter J. Rogers Sr. and Nora Katherine Pace Rogers; her siblings, Rita Rogers Talbot and Walter J. Rogers, Jr.  She is survived by her beloved sister-in-law Lois Rogers, nieces and nephews, Michael Talbot (Wendy), Kathy Talbot Allen (Don), Barbara Talbot Germany (Jerry), Walter Rogers III (Donna), Thomas Rogers (Manuela), and Paul Rogers (Nannette) and many great nieces and nephews.

T’Ann loved her family, she was a devoted Aunt, and she cherished her Catholic Faith.  She was a long-time employee of D.H. Holmes (until it closed), and active in church life at St. Julian Eymard (now closed), The Catholic Daughters, and later Holy Name of Mary.  She maintained many close friendships from her school days at Holy Name of Mary, her church, and her work life. She was an avid animal lover as well

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19 from 12:00-12:45 at the Chapel at Our Lady of Wisdom Nursing Home, with a service immediately following.  Internment (family only) will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
