Steven Paul Rice, Jr.

Steven Paul Rice, Jr. entered into eternal rest on April 1, 2026. Beloved son of Constance “Connie” Lyons Nanney (late Ken) and Steven Rice, Sr. (Karen). Brother of Bryan Rice (Aimee), Justin Rice (Tara), Kevin Nanney (Ana), and Kelli Clancy (Patrick). Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Age 53 years, a native of New Orleans and resident of Gretna. Steven was a boiler maker with Local #37 and was also a cook for many years with many local restaurants. He was very proud of his Irish heritage as well. He will be deeply missed by all.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Parlor Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 11 AM.
