Stephen Christopher Vance

Stephen C. Vance passed away on November 25, 2016 at the age of 25 years. Beloved son of Sharon D. Vance and Steve Vance. Brother of Elizabeth Tosses (A.J.), Jacob Vance, John Vance, Chase Rodgers and Bryce Vance. Grandson of Bobby and Catherine Deroche, Edward and Sue Vance. Godson of David and Stacie Deroche. Uncle of Sebastian Tosses. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stephen had a great and compassionate heart and touched everyone who knew him. And he would have wanted his passing to be celebrated and not mourned. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was born in Metairie, LA, grew up in Marrero, LA and Greenville, MS and resided in Hammond, LA at the time of his death. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 146 Fourth Street, Westwego, LA on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1pm. Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday morning from 9am until 12:30pm. Interment, Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, Westwego, LA.
