Sherman Lanier Jr.

Sherman Lanier, Jr. passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Beloved husband of Lori Limon Lanier for 45 years. Father of Sherman Lanier, III "Tre" (Samantha), Wesley Lanier (Heidi), Jordan Lanier, and Kristin L. Geeck (Todd). Grandfather of Marley, Mackenzie, Brody, Audrey, Nora, Wyatt, and grandpup Midas. Son of the late Sherman Lanier, Sr. and Nora Davis Lanier. Brother of Cherry L. Palmisano. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Age 62 years, a native of New Orleans and resident of Harvey, LA. Sherman spent his lifelong career as a second generation Pawnbroker. He loved his family dearly and especially spending time with his grandchildren. His well known hobby of choice was playing Blackjack - never hitting with 16, and always doubling down on an Ace. He will be deeply missed by all.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1 PM.
