Sarah Marie Santini, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, godmother, aunt, and friend passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She is survived by her fiancé James Stelly, her children, Sheree Ann Griffin, Ronald (Boogie) Harold Hardin Jr., and Jimmy Lee Masterson III, her grandchildren, Jordyn DuBose, Jaiden Mitchell, Magdaline Robinson, Kimberlee Hardin, Geoffrey Lucas, Allyson DuBose, Kaylee Masterson, Lainee Griffin, Isabella Hardin, Jimmy Masterson IV, and Tripp Griffin, her father, Giovanni R. Santini, and her sister Dora Santini. She is also survived by her godchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Those who predeceased her include her mother Edna M. Santini and her sister Patricia (Patty) Bourgeois. Sarah was a proud mother and grandmother and told everyone within earshot about her loving family. She loved being a mawmaw, as her grandchildren called her, each of them had a special place in her heart and she cherished every moment spent with them. Sarah was a proud member of the United Houma Nation tribe based in Houma, Louisiana. She was also a loving friend and neighbor, often seen going out of her way to help her friends and neighbors in any way she could. Sarah would tell you that her family and her tribe were the two most important things in her life. She loved without reserve and gave of herself without hesitation. Her green thumb and passion for gardening were evident to anyone who entered her home. It was adorned with a vibrant display of flowers and plants, reflecting her nurturing spirit. Sarah's love for her family and friends found its expression in her delicious meals, always prepared with affection and care. She reveled in time spent with loved ones at family reunions and POWWOWs, fostering the bonds that defined her life. She also enjoyed attending church at Bethany Church in Denham Springs as she was a devout Christian.

A family Funeral Service in remembrance of Sarah Santini is scheduled to take place at Mothe Funeral Home,

2100 Westbank Expwy, Harvey, LA on October 28, 2023, from 1:30 to 2:00 pm, led by Pastor Aaron Lanclois.

Visitation will be held from 11:30am until 1:30pm, followed by the burial service at Fleming Cemetery,

Lafitte, LA. All friends, family, and community members whose lives were touched by Sarah are invited to

attend. Following the burial services, a celebration of life will be held at Jules Nunez Seafood Pavilion, where

we can come together to honor the memory of a remarkable woman. Sarah’s memory will live on in the hearts

of all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire us all.
