Sandra "Maw" Allemand

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Sandra “Maw” Allemand, 67, of Waggaman, Louisiana. She passed while surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 29th, 1957 in New Orleans, LA. Maw enjoyed taking vacations with her family, celebrating Mardi Gras and loved cheering on her Saints on gameday. She made sure all her family was together to celebrate the Holiday seasons.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Jeff), Mandy (Ronald), Gary III (Chrissy), James (Tish), Lacey (Cody). Her Grandchildren- which she absolutely loved: Derrick, Natosha, Dustin, Gary IV, Alexis, Alyssa, Mariah, Marissa, Joey, Brad, Te’Ron, Gianna, Carter, Jaymiee, and Cayson. A host of 13 Great Grandchildren (and counting). Her sister Cynthia (Paul), brother Keith, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son Gary Allemand Jr., her brother Terry Richards and mother Martha Ann Page.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 11AM until 1:30PM. Memorial Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:30PM.  Interment will be held privately at a later date
