Ruth T. Eserman, age 87 passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Steven J. Eserman, Sr. for many years. Mother of Keith A. Eserman and the late Steven Eserman, Jr. Mother-in-law of Connie Eserman. Daughter of the late Louis Abel Dugas and Eleanor Ledet Dugas. Sister of Geraldine Dugas Lodriguss, Iris Dugas Kelly and the late Louis J. Dugas and Joyce Dugas Wells. Grandmother of Denise Davillier (Heath), Travis Eserman (Marianna), Brandie Eserman and Rachel Harris. Great Grandmother of Tyler, Elizabeth, Breah, Lathan, Demi, Tracie, Travis Jr. and Talia. Ruth was a native of Larose, LA and lived in Marrero and Westwego for a number of years. She loved to trawl and fish when she lived in Grand Isle. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and Grandchildren. She also really enjoyed her trips to the Gulf Coast Casinos and she also enjoyed traveling with friends. She moved back to the Westbank where she lived at Wynhoven for the remainder of her life. She followed her Catholic Religion very closely and was a Eucharistic Minister at Wynhoven. She also worked at Sears and Roebuck for many years. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the Staff of Wynhoven Health Care Center and Notre Dame Hospice for the love and care given to Ruth. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her honor and memory for Masses at Wynhoven Health Care Center, 1050 Medical Center Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072. Family and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Services at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 10AM. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
