Russell Lee Michael Todaro Sr., son of the late Camille Michael Todaro and Ella Williams Todaro, was born on December 13, 1951. On August 23, 2026, he passed away in his home surrounded by his family. Russell is survived by his wife of 54 years Pamela Vizier Todaro and their 4 children: Brandy Lee DiMaggio (Frank), Russell Lee Todaro Jr. (Becky), Late Matthew Lee Todaro, Olivia Lee Thornton (Joshua), grandchildren Demi Lee DiMaggio, Allison DiMaggio Flood (Jonah), Dylan Lee DiMaggio, Anthony Camille Todaro, Beckett Lee Thornton, Harrison Lee Thornton, Emmelia Lee Thornton, and late Matthew Lee Thornton, and great-grand child Lucia Allison Flood. He is the brother of Kathy Todaro Lavalla (Sam) and Melainie Todaro Langteau (Greg) and brother-in-law of Shelly Vizier Chiasson (Late Tommy), Margaret Vizier Louis (Barry), Jacquelyn Vizier Comeaux (Darrin), Lisa Vizier Mayfield (Danny), Heidi Vizier Donahue (Sean). Russell was an uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Russell’s life was defined by his deep devotion to the Traditional Catholic Faith, profound love and loyalty to his family and his lifelong passion for vehicle restoration. Relatives and friends of family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church, 3101 Eton Street, Algiers, LA on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 11am.
