Russell Joseph Dubois

Russell Joseph Dubois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 surrounded by his caring and loving family at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin J. and Lou Emma Dubois; brother, Al P. Dubois. He is beloved husband of 44 years of Margaret Dubois. Russell is loving father of Rochelle Babin (Dywane) and Brent Dubois (Carrie). He is devoted grandfather of 6 grandchildren, Dylan Rudisaile ( Masey), Devin Rudisaile ( Alexis), Layne Dubois, William “Tyler” Galloway, Dywayne Babin Jr and Logan Babin. He is great grandfather of Madilyn Martinez and Micah Rudisaile. Russell is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Russell was a retired machinist with Avondale and Bollenger Ship Building Companies after 38 years of service. He was a US Veteran serving in the US Army. He enjoyed many activities with his grandkids and really enjoyed fixing things for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Gathering of Family and Friends on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to St. Jude's Children's Foundation.
