Roy Joachim Michel Jr.

On July 13, 2024, Roy J. Michel Jr. suddenly passed away. He is preceded in death by his parents Mary Elizabeth Michel and Roy Joachim Michel, Sr. and his longtime partner, Janet Stuckey. He is survived by his brothers, David F. Michel and Rene Michel (Dianne Haab Michel), his niece Claire Elizabeth Mumme and nephew James Robert Michel. 

 Roy was a native of New Orleans and loved the Saints. His employment at Amtrak made it possible to travel regularly to see the other sports team he loved, the Chicago Cubs. 

At Roy's request there will not be any formal service for his passing. Just hug the ones you love like it's the last time every time.
