"Nanna" Reid, aged 75, of New Orleans, Louisiana, bid us all a fond farewell on July 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and legendary country cooking. Born in the rolling hills of Warren, Tennessee, on April 18, 1951, Rosetta was destined to make the world a livelier place. After a long and dedicated career at Garrett Auto Parts, Nanna retired to focus on her true passions: gardening, country music, and thrilling rides at amusement parks and fairs. Her garden was as vibrant as her personality, and she could often be found taking care of her plants and cooking. Nanna had a knack for turning any gathering into a grand occasion, complete with her famous country cooking that could rival any Southern diner. Her kitchen was her stage, and her family and friends were her adoring audience, always eager for an encore of her delicious dishes. Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Etta Elkins and Robert E. Elkins, Rosetta is survived by her devoted husband, David Reid, who was her partner in life and in mischief. Her legacy lives on through her Sons: Steven Robert Fishe, known as "The Good Looking One," David Michael Fishe (Jennifer Fishe), Daughters: Danielle Love (Jimmy Love), Christina Sanchez (Davin Sanchez), Melissa Reid and Jennifer Fishe. Grandchildren: Violet Fishe, Tristan Love, Mileena Sanchez, Madison Sanchez, James Love, Jayme Mancuso, she also leaves behind a host of friends who will miss her infectious laughter and generous spirit. While Rosetta may have left this world, her vibrant spirit and witty charm will continue to resonate with all who knew her. As we remember Rose, let us carry forward her zest for life, her love for family, and her unwavering belief that a day spent with family is a day well spent.
