Rosella Bourgeois Bernard

Rosella Bourgeois Bernard passed away peacefully on January 8, 2017 at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Donald R. Bernard. Mother of Laura Siebert (David), Donald Bernard II (Denise), Nicole Bernard and Suzanne Bernard. Grandmother of Ashley, Abigail, Matia, Phillip and the late Brandon. Great-grandmother of Cole, Camden, Hadley and Aryande. Sister of Irwin Bourgeois (Gaynell), Myra Bourgeois Badeaux, Jason Bourgeois, the late Nathan Bourgeois (Linda) and the late Terry Bourgeois (Kathy). Daughter of the late Paul and Therese Babin Bourgois. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Rosella graduated from Nicholls State University with her degree in Medical Technology. She worked at West Jefferson Medical Center for 40 years. She was a member of the Pastoral Council of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Belle Chasse and was a member of the Mothers of Twins Club. She was, along with her beloved Donald, a passionate and enthusiastic Saints football fan, always ready to cheer on her favorite sports team.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5 PM to 9 PM, resuming at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Belle Chasse on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
