Mrs. Rose Mary Pizani Victoriano, had her prayers answered for a peaceful death, took God by the hand and entered Heaven on the morning of Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the age of 95. Born and raised in Barataria, Louisiana, she was a lifelong resident who cherished her community. She will forever be remembered for her deep love of family, her devotion to her faith, her passion for cooking, her impeccable style, and her joy during the holidays.

Rose Mary was the beloved wife of the late Leonard P. “Black” Victoriano, Sr. She was the loving mother of Kathleen V. “Kathy” LeBlanc (wife of the late Alan J. LeBlanc) and the late Leonard P. Victoriano, Jr. (husband of Kirsti Rojas).

She was the proud grandmother of Sheree L. Hymel (Ryan J. Hymel), Michelle R. LeBlanc (Aubry Bonck), Kenny M. Victoriano, and the late Jason L. Victoriano. She was also the protective great-grandmother of Macie R. Hymel (fiancé Dylan Landry), Sylas J. “Victoriano” Kelly (fiancé Cheyenne), and Rylee A. Hymel.

Rose Mary was the daughter of the late Rosemond E. Pizani and Cleona F. Pizani, and the sister of the late Rosemond E. Pizani, Jr. (Martha).

She was the daughter-in-law of the late Robert Victoriano, Sr. and Virginia Schieffler. Sister-in-law of the late Robert J. Victoriano, Jr. (late wife Geraldine), the late Mary Elaine V. Maise Bonura (late husband’s Lennie Bonura and Warren “Red” J. Maise), and the late Veronica V. Fazende (late husband Larry). She was the Godmother of Teresa “Tess” Zar and the late John L. Wildey, Jr. She is also survived by many loving family members, friends, and many canine companions.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Acosta for the many years he provided comfort, care, and support whenever it was needed. The family truly appreciates your dedication to our Rose. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Tranquil Living and Compassus Hospice for their genuine care and comfort.

A gathering will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment St. Pius Mausoleum in Crown Point.
