Rose Marie Gonzales Mancuso

After a courageous 5-month battle with a rare illness, Rose Marie Gonzales Mancuso entered into Heaven where she was welcomed by her husband, the late Anthony S. Mancuso; her parents, Maurice “Buster” and Rose Pelitire Gonzales; and brother, Howard Gonzales (the late Susan). She is survived by her children, Mark E. Mancuso, Ann Mancuso Boylan (John) and grandson, Anthony J. Mancuso.

Her greatest love was for her family and close friends. Although she was a lifelong resident of Gretna, one of her life’s enjoyments was having the opportunity to be a part of the Terrytown community as owner of Barbie’s Hallmark Shoppe where she made new friends and shared in their special events. 

Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 601 Sixth Street, Gretna, LA on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 9am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will follow. (Rosary recitation will be at 8:30am). 

Burial will be private.
