Rose T. Crescionie

Rose T. Crescionie passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the age of 92. Born on March 3, 1933 to Rosalino and Frances Todaro, Rose was a life-long resident of Harvey, Louisiana, where she served as both a homemaker and the Matriarch of the family.

Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Gillis Crescionie; and siblings Camille Todaro, Vincent Todaro, Jack Todaro, Tony Todaro, Josephine Landry, Mary Lafont, and Lucy Vidonne. She is survived by children Donald Burke (late Janice), Frances Toups, June Dufrene (late Andrew), Rene Crescionie (Rachel), and Renell Parnell (Oliver); brother Claude Todaro; grandchildren Fancey Magon (Daniel), Cheree Alvarez (Brandon), Pete Taylor, Sr., Sabrina Punch, Shaney Crescionie, Rene Crescionie, Jr. (Lyn), Britany “Rei” Lovetro (Jason), and Jessica Larroue (Corey); great-grandchildren Jayson (Alexis), Jonathan, Joseph (Kelsey), Pete, Jr. (Madeline), Mya, Brooke, Trevor, Kylie, Ashley, Katrina, Lucio, Hayden, Holden, Isabella, Rhett, and Ridge; and great-great-grandchildren Jaycee, Jayson, Jr., Jacelyn, Jaxx, Wyatt, Tayson, Gabriella, Braison, and Oaklynn.

Rose’s passions were her family and making sure everyone was fed. She also helped numerous family members through sickness. In her younger years, she loved taking trips with her husband and family. Rose never met a stranger and loved everyone, including her dog Chance, who she adored as one of her children. She had the purest heart; everyone to grace her presence felt every bit of her love.

The family would like to give special thanks to Egan-Ochsner Healthcare (Courtney and Amanda), the Schibler family, and all of her children who took amazing care of her over the last 30 years. “Your Daddy is so proud of each of you and your Mother was grateful.”

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 9:30AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1:30PM. A private interment will take place at a later date.
