Rosalie Acosta Savoie

Rosalie Acosta Savoie passed away peacefully on June 9, 2017 at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Clifton J. Savoie. Mother of Kenneth J. Savoie (Patricia), Linda S. Adams (the late Don) and the late Ray J. Savoie. Grandmother of Tommy (Corie), Todd (Teri), April, Cindy, Keith, Ray Jr. and JoAnn (Jimmy). Great-grandmother of Kiersten, Alex, Isabella, Alexis, Jourdan, Todd Jr., Bobby and Christopher. Sister of Mattie Breaux, the late Agnes LeBlanc, Jennie Rodrigue, Marie Boudreaux, Betty Hebert and Gilmore Acosta. Daughter of the late Louis Acosta and Mary Martin Acosta LeBlanc. Also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rosalie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Everyone knew which holiday was coming because she would start preparing months in advance. She would often have holiday gatherings and parties at her house. She was a talented home cook and her family loved to eat her oyster dressing and have her signature lemon ice-box pie for dessert. Her main focus was her love and devotion to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. She will be sadly missed but her life and legacy will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
