Rosalie Grace Madere Plaisance passed away peacefully on March 24, 2017 at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of the late Larry Plaisance Sr. Mother of Larry Plaisance Jr. (Lou), Ricky Plaisance (Angie) and Deanna Patecek (Don Jr.). Daughter of the late Marie Tilda Matheren Madere and Antoine Cyril Madere. Sister of Peter Madere, Mary Bobbitt and the late Hazel Borne, Rosemary Madere and Joseph Irvin Madere. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchldren along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Belle Chasse, LA and resided in Harvey, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 1 PM. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Monday from 9 AM to 1 PM.
