In Loving Memory of Mr. Roody Darelus August 10, 1988 – April 24, 2026
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Roody Darelus, who departed this life on April 24, 2026, in Gretna, Louisiana. Born in Haiti on August 10, 1988, Roody was a devoted husband, a loving father, a faithful Christian, and a man of great kindness, humility, and strength. He was known as a great man, a good person, and someone who genuinely loved helping others. His life was a reflection of compassion, service, and unwavering faith in God. Roody faithfully served the Ebenezer Seventh-day Adventist Church community in New Orleans as a dedicated deacon. Through his service, he touched many lives with his generosity, leadership, and willingness to support those in need. He was deeply respected and appreciated by his church family and community for his commitment to ministry and his servant’s heart.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Nadege Joseph, and their two precious children, who were the center of his life and greatest joy. He was a caring provider, a supportive friend, and a source of encouragement to all who knew him.
His passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his family, friends, church family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us in body, his love, his legacy, and the beautiful memories he created will remain forever in our hearts.
We invite family, friends, and loved ones to join us in celebrating his life and honoring his memory.
