Robert Lee "Junior" Hess

Robert Lee “Junior” Hess, a long-time resident of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gardenia Buras Hess; parents, Willie Louis and Dora Martin Hess; siblings, Henry “ Blue” Hess, Huey Hess and Julie Hess Pitre. He is devoted father of Robert J. Hess Sr. (Celina), Bernadine Palmasino, Dennis W. Hess. He is devoted grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. He is loving brother of Dora Lee Roeder, Willie Hess, Johnny Hess, Jerry Hess and Roy Hess. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Junior was retired from Chevron Oil Company after 38 years of dedicated service. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 beginning at 11:00 AM followed by Funeral Services at 1:30 PM from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna.
