Robert E. Bauer Jr.

Robert E. Bauer, Jr. passed away peacefully on March 27, 2017 at the age of 87. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Myrna Lange Bauer, daughters, Cecile Bauer Caronna (Dominick) and Julie Bauer Boss (the late Raymond). Son of the late Robert E. Bauer, Sr. and Cecile Kern Bauer. Brother of Sandra Graper. Grandfather of Nick and Jessie Caronna and Blair and Bridgette Boss. He was a native of McDonoghville and a resident of Harvey for the past 47 years. He was retired from Witco Chemical Corporation and a former member of the Gretna Sportsman Club. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Martha's Catholic Church, 2555 Apollo Ave., Harvey, LA on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11am. Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until 11am. Interment, McDonoghville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
