Rigoberto Sarrio III

"Rigo" Rigoberto Sarrio III entered into eternal rest on January 24, 2026. He will be remembered for his natural leadership, his infectious laughter, and his ability to make friends with anyone that he crossed paths with.

He is survived by his loving mother, Cortney Mayet Sarrio; father, Rigoberto M. Sarrio, Jr. ; brother, Lorenzo Sarrio; and half-brother, Cruz Sarrio.

Rigo leaves behind his grandmother, Alyson Lorenzo Mayet and is reunited in heaven with his late grandfather, John Mayet.

He is lovingly remembered by his Aunt/Nanny Cori Navarre (Carl Jr.); Uncle Cody Mayet (Alisha Thompson); and cousins Cain, Cruz, and Cali Navarre. Also left to cherish his memory is a large, loving family of great-aunts, great-uncles and extended relatives.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Rigo’s caretakers Maddie, Gabby, and CeCi Sarrio for their compassionate care and kindness during his final days.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 am. Interment following at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
