Riad Raymondo Arizi

Riad Raymondo Arizi entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the age of 69. Beloved and loving husband of 45 years to Nancy Ellzey Arizi. Son of the late Raymondo Arizi and Adel Arizi. Loving and devoted father of Riad, Jr. (Lamise) and Sara (Edward). Beloved grandfather of Sophia, Nancy and Nadia. Loving brother of Malaki Bou Hamdan, Ragada Arizi and Rida Arizi. Riad is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close family and friends here in the United States and Lebanon. Riad came to the United States in 1978 to further his education by attending college and graduating with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He found his true calling in 1992, when he and Nancy returned to Venice, Louisiana to take over her family’s business, Ellzey Marine and Hardware. This was a new challenge for him and he embraced it. Over the years, Riad enjoyed meeting many people as they came to Venice for work, hunting and fishing. He cared deeply about his employees and their families. As he was transitioning into retirement, Riad looked forward to visiting Lebanon more, loved gardening, especially his roses, and trading and talking stock market. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, beginning at 6PM until 10PM.
