Renée Catalanatto Chastant

Renée Catalanatto Chastant entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the age of 62. Beloved and loving wife of 44 years to Daniel Chastant. Loving and devoted mother to Daniel Chastant, Jr. (Jennifer), Lisa Richard (Chad) and Mallory Bergeron (Vincent). Beloved and loving Grandmother to Gavin Richard, Daniel Chastant, III, Zachary Chastant, Knox Richard, Ava Bergeron and Dean Bergeron. Godmother to Donnie Overheim, Kaleigh Pessin, and Megan Dare. She is the daughter of Betty Jo Ann Catalanatto. Sister of Denise Prest and Deanna Marzoni. Renée is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, the late Mitchel Catalanatto as well as her siblings, Michel Catalanatto Dare (Survived by Jim), the late Mitchel Catalanatto and the late Lisa Faith Catalanatto. Renée was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and resided in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. After her retirement from Archbishop Blenk High School, she devoted her life to care for her grandchildren whom was her world. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 9AM until 11AM.
