Raynette Savoie Williams; born Raynette Marie Williams; was born on March 22, 1927, in Westwego Louisiana, and is the last survivor of 12 siblings. She was married to the late Donald J. Williams for 56 years. She had 3 sons; David S. Williams, Daniel W. Williams and the late Steven A. Williams (Jane). She is survived by 4 grandchildren; Stephanie W. Flynt, (Ray Flynt, Michael A. Williams ( Kolbie Williams), Jade Williams, and Tara Williams, and 7 great-grandchildren; Jessica Frickey, Joshus Frickey, Michael Andrepont, Patricia Flynt, Mahakai Williams, Charlie Martinez, and Zyanti Williams, and one great great grandchild Bryson Frickey.
Raynette danced at the USO dances where she met her husband, Donald J. Williams. They were married and moved to Ohio and then back to Westwego, Louisiana. She then worked at Underwood Glass as a glass inspector. After many years, she quit to take care of her family. Raynette and her husband moved to Toca Louisiana. When her husband passed away in 2001 her oldest son, David, moved in to take care of her. They lived there until Hurricane Katrina destroyed their home. They then moved to Covington, Louisiana and resided there until her passing. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11am.
