Raymond P. Plaisance Jr. passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Marjoria Williams Plaisance. Brother of Guy Plaisance, Lorretta Plaisance, and the late Cynthia Schwemm. Uncle of Susan Plaisance, Manlee Harrington, Dixie Harrington, Penny Schwemm, and Delores Schwemm. Great-uncle of Eric Sotres and Braison Tanner. Son of the late Raymond P. Plaisance Sr. and Gay Reith Plaisance Wattigney. Also survived by his canine companion, Jubbie along with other loving relatives and friends.
Raymond loved to ride horses and was a member of the Jefferson Indians.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A prayer service will follow. Interment at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
