Raymond Joseph Lassiegne

January 13, 1968 — July 15, 2025

Raymond Joseph Lassiegne of New Orleans, LA - January 13, 1968 to July 15, 2025 - went home to Heaven at the age of 57. He is the cherished husband of Tiffany Cascio Lassiegne and the father of Londyn Lynn and Blaze Joseph.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Calligan Lassiegne and Edward Lassiegne Sr. and his brother, Edward Lassiegne Jr. He was the grandson of the late Bernice Rodriguez Lassiegne and Harvey Lassiegne, Sr. and Herman Calligan and Ester Landry Calligan. He is survived by his bonus mom, Karen Quirk Hebert Lassiegne.

He is dearly loved by his surviving brother, Howard Lassiegne (Shannon Bayhi), goddaughter and niece Elyssa St. Germain (Jacob), niece Brianna Guthrie (Nick) and niece Kailyn Lassiegne (fiancé Devin Breaux), along with a host of family members and friends who will fondly remember him.

He has joined eternity with his father-in-love, Patrick Cascio, and his grandmother-in-love, Catherine Lowery. He is survived by his mother-in-love, Tammy Lowery Cascio, whom each of them lovingly served as a caregiver during his journey, offering support and compassion in his times of need. He is the brother-in-love of Talise Cascio and the cherished godparent of Cassidy and Cooper Carrick, children of Jason and Jamey Dyer.

Ray was a retired Sgt. of Special Operations, Physical Training Instructor, Narcotics Detective, part of the multi-jurisdictional task force with the Gretna Police Department and was an Instructor and Graduate of Nine Lives Associates which is a special program created and provided by the Executive Protection Institute.  Ray also enjoyed bass fishing, golf, traveling with his wife and staying active through a lifestyle of fitness, exercise, and nutritious living.  He was also an instrumental and vital part of Experience ELLE Ministries.

Tiffany and Blaze wish to express their heartfelt gratitude and affection to Shannon Lassiegne, Elyssa St. Germain, and Brianna Guthrie as well as Jared and Victoria Duhon, Jason and Jamey Dyer, and Rontunda Moran for their consistent support and dedicated caregiving. We would also like to extend our deepest appreciation to Alexandra Boada for her constant love and encouragement.

Family and friends are welcome to honor Ray’s life at Westpoint Church, 664 Behrman Hwy in Gretna, LA, on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Visitation will be from noon to 1 PM. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 1 PM with Pastors Jared and Victoria Duhon officiating. Internment will be held privately.
