Raymond J. Guidroz

Raymond J. Guidroz passed away on December 6, 2011. He was 90 years of age and a longtime resident of Westwego, LA. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite Gros Guidroz. Father of Ray “Skeets” Guidroz. Brother of Bella Mae Martin, the late Alice Breaux, Louis J. and Lionel J. Guidroz. Also survived by nieces and nephews. He served his country as a U.S. Army veteran, retiring after 23 years and also retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board as a school bus driver. He was also a member of V.F.W. Post No. 6793, American Legion Post 206, Banter Fraternity and Waggaman Golden Agers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 9 AM to 1 PM. A Mass will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum in Westwego.
