Those fishing trips became treasured family traditions. In addition to his love for fishing, he had a deep passion for gardening. He took pride in cultivating his garden, especially his famous hybrid creole tomatoes, spending countless hours nurturing his plants and watching them grow. The time he dedicated to tending his garden brought him peace and fulfillment, and he often shared the fruits of his labor with family and friends, making his garden not only a source of beauty but a symbol of love and care.
