Randy Paul Martin, Sr.

Randy Paul Martin, Sr. passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 74. His journey through life reflected an enduring commitment to those he loved and to the Parish he served.

Randy was proceeded in death by parents Jessie Joseph Martin and Bernadette Adams Martin; siblings Judy Martin Graves and Joey Joseph Martin; and great nephew Jessie Billiot. He is survived by his children Melissa Lynn Martin and Randy Paul Martin, Jr.; daughter-in-law Nicole Zurigo Martin; grandchildren Haley Martin, Madison Martin, and Tyler Martin; partner of 25 years Sharon Amedee; brother and sister-in-law Errol Martin and Henrietta Martin; Godchild and wife Errol Martin, Jr. and Patty Martin; nieces Patrice Billiot and Sharon Billiot Manzella; and great nephew Eric Billiot.

Randy’s presence was both a source of strength and comfort to his community, family, and friends. As we remember and honor him, we hold dear the memory of his career with Jefferson Parish and the dignified manner in which he journeyed through it. The influence he provided will be cherished, and his absence keenly felt.

The Family will be holding a Memorial Service at a later date.
