Ramona Cristina Cordova

Ramona Cristina Cordova left this world at the age of 91 on December 4, 2023. She was born in Honduras but was a resident of New Orleans for the last 32 years.

She worked as a caregiver for 20 years. She was a member of El Milagro, El Shaddai, and La Gran Commission.

She is preceded in death by her husband Hernan Emmanul Cordova and her grandsons Hernan Cordova Jr. and Byron Cordova.

She is survived by her daughters Sonia Cordova, Edith Cordova, Aracely Cordova, and Lourdes Cordova, her sons Hernan Cordova, Jose Cordova (Robert), Raul Cordova, Denis Cordova, Hector Cordova, Noe Cordova, and Wilmer Cordova, her grandchildren Josue Cordova, Jonathan Cordova, Lilian Cordova-Lofton, Daniel Cordova, Abira Cordova, Cristina Janeth Lorio. Patricio Somarriba, Gabriel Guerrero, Carlos Cordova, Jessica Cordova, Jose R. Cordova Jr., Christopher Cordova, Brandon M. Cordova, Mauricio Turcios, Derrick Turcios, Jennifer Turcios, Chrystal Cordova, Christopher A. Cordova, Brandon A. Cordova, Wilmer Cordova Jr., Andrea Cordova, Mauri Cordova, Daniela Cordova, Lester Rodriguez, Jerry Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Patricia Rodriguez, Dafnee Cordova and Jenny Cordova and her great grandchildren, Sienna Jade Cordova, Jisela Cordova, Jaden Cordova, Jalynn Lofton Cordova, Nolen Lofton Jr., Hilary Canales, Alina Canales, Damaris Canales, Layla Lorio, Alina M. Cordova, Ellana F. Cordova and many more great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, December 9 at 9:30 am for a visitation at Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. 70058. The funeral service will start at 11 am in the Chapel followed by interment at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA. 70056. Arrangements by Mothe.
