Ralph Charles Wickman

Ralph Charles Wickman entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2026. Beloved husband of Dianne Boudreaux Wickman for 44 years. Stepfather of Allison Rau Samanie (Ronald) and the late Gregory Rau. Grandfather of Erin Samanie and Tracy Samanie Frank (Jonathan). Great-grandfather of William “Liam” Charles Samanie and Octavia Michelle Frank. Son of the late Victor Wickman and Frances Henslin Wickman. Brother of V. Paul Wickman (B.G.). Cousin of Kimberly Holtz (Demar) and close family of the late Belden Homburg (Debbie). Age 76 years, a native of Corpus Christi, TX and resident of Gretna, LA.

Ralph was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of David Crockett Fire Department, longtime member of Krewe of Endymion, member of Tulane University Ray Hester Athletic Club, and enjoyed spending time on any golf course he could.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5 PM until 9 PM and resuming Thursday from 9 AM until Funeral Time. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
