It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our Papi, Quintin Romilio Acosta. Just last Saturday, we were blessed to celebrate his 90th birthday with him, never imagining how precious that celebration would become.
In 1968, Quintin brought his family to the United States with dreams of a better life. Through hard work, determination, and countless sacrifices, he built a wonderful life and became a very successful man. But his greatest accomplishment was the family he loved so dearly.
He taught his 5 children the value of hard work, perseverance, and family, and we will forever be grateful for everything he did for us.
He had 4 daughters. Ana Pupo Beard, Ana Maria Acosta, Edith Acosta, Enriqueta Acosta and 1 son Eduardo Jorge Acosta.
Papi, we love you more than words can express. Our hearts are broken, and we will miss you tremendously. We are so proud to be your children, and your love and legacy will live on through all of us.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Lorenzo Acosta of 46 years.
Relatives and Friends the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Monday, November 9, 2026 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until mass time.
