Phillip Edwin Songy peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the age of 56. Beloved and devoted husband of Lynne Reich Songy. Loving father of Aimee Songy and Nicole Songy. Beloved grandfather of Tatum Licciardi. Son of Joan Grey Songy and the late Raphael Nemour Songy. Brother of Raphael Songy (Janet Songy). Phillip was born in New Orleans, LA; resided in Kenner, LA and a current resident of Harvey, LA for the past 30 years. He was owner of Terrytown Café, Inc. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 5PM until 9PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 6:30PM. A private interment will be held at a later date.
